Tree Valley Life Science Museum

 

Tree Valley Life Science Museum is a themed museum that combines natural history,  human history, and the history of science and technology. Shanhua Sugar Factory

 

Founded in 1904, Shanhua Sugar Factory features a shady, elegant, and pleasant environment. The park area includes a Taisugar product store and a factory guesthouse, while local   businesses such as Shen Yuan, Water Company (Shantang Cultural Park), and Ting Sheh   restaurant add a distinctive sugar-industry cultural charm. This area has become a popular   spot for photographers and is perfect for family visits.

Yingxi Lake

 

Yingxi Lake, named for its eastern orientationt that greets the morning sunlight, is a beautiful park ideal for family walks and picnics. The lakeside features walking trails and plenty of       recreational facilities. Completing the full trail takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Suitable for           visitors of all ages, it is a perfect spot for families to enjoy leisure time together.

Cingan Temple

Cingan Temple, located at the heart of Shanhua during the Dutch colonial period, boasts a  history of over 300 years, spanning the Ming and Qing dynasties. It was renovated in 1947  and is now a designated historical monument of Tainan City. Visiting Cingan Temple is like  stepping into a treasure-filled history museum or art gallery. Experiencing it with reverence   allows visitors to trace historical footprints and enjoy a deeply enriching cultural journey.
